So Here’s the deal… There are few options for a full on low carb lunch or dinner meal that you can just heat and eat. There are a few frozen options that are available that can do just that, I adore anything from Quest, and these pizzas definitely curb the cravings for junk food. They come in a variety of flavor options with different carb counts, so you can definitely feel like your cheating on your diet while staying on track. I found the frozen dinners from Atkins are great for emergency food. You know those long days when your too tired to cook, or you have a short lunch, these are perfect! There is always a variety of them available in most local grocery stores. There are other brands of frozen dinners that market high protein and low carb, always check the net carbs on the nutritional label.
Low Carb Lunch or Dinner Options
Everything else listed requires some work, but not much time. Grab those spiralized veggies and add a low carb sauce from Rao’s to make spaghetti, add some ground beef and it’s a full meal! Substitute cauliflower rice to traditional rice in dishes, it’s a great filler while reducing carbs. Shred hot & ready rotisserie chicken to reduce cooking times for dishes, make an awesome and fast chicken quesadilla with those low carb tortillas! Add a low carb sauce to lightly breaded chicken pieces for boneless wings. There are many low carb ingredient options that can make your lunch or dinner easier just with some creativity.
